Aon's Private Risk Management Team is seeking a Training & Education Manager to lead our efforts in developing, executing and delivering various training and educational programs for our team. The Training & Education Manager will review existing training curricula and develop new material to train and educate our team members. They will ensure alignment with training objectives as respects to new colleague onboarding, agency management training, business standards training and on-going professional development opportunities. The Training & Education Manager will also support our efforts to hire and train junior colleagues in the areas of client service and sales. What the day will look like:Lead the efforts to develop, maintain, and deliver all training and education programs Develop informative material, such as digital presentations, how-to manuals, and instructional videosCoordinates and conducts training for new hires and department transfers and all training follow-upsDevelop, maintain, and deliver employee refresher training as necessaryUse performance trends and patterns to make impactful training recommendations and create an effective training strategy that results in improved qualityDevelop learning objectives, maintain training logs, and document control historyDevelop audio, visual, and interactive media aidsDeliver training progress reportsDevelop training strategies that improve quality standards and drive associated projects from information gathering stages to project completionMeasure the effectiveness of training sessions and applies the appropriate training process changesAddress quality findings through coaching and feedback sessions Use survey responses to address training and production needsProvide leadership and support to personnel in a fast-paced and constantly changing work environmentProvide strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills while fostering an environment of open communication and teamworkAdditional projects as assignedSkills and experience that will lead to success:Experience in high net worth personal insurance preferred7+ years of training and development experienceAbility to provide effective feedback during one-on-one coaching5+ years of training experience including knowledge of adult learning styles, theories, and methodsExcellent communication and presentation skillsMust be proficient with technology, and able to fully utilize Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
