Prior Authorization Pharmacist (CST) - Remote

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Job Title: Remote Pharmacist Temp/Temp-to-Hire Location: Fully Remote (Must be located in CST) Start Date: December 1 (Training Begins) Schedule: • MondayFriday: 10:00 AM7:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM8:00 PM EST • Rotating Weekend On-Call Duration: Temporary (with potential to convert to permanent) Licensure: Active pharmacist license in at least one U.S. state required Overview: We are seeking an experienced Remote Pharmacist to join a clinical team focused on improving healthcare access and outes through effective utilization management. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential for permanent placement, and it offers the chance to make a direct impact in patient care decisions and benefit utilization. Key Responsibilities: • Review and evaluate prior authorization requests for medications and equipment under the Medicare Part B benefit • Review appeals for previously denied requests • Assist members and providers in understanding their drug coverage and how to navigate the benefits system • Provide guidance to internal teamsboth clinical and non-clinicalon benefit policies and procedures Ideal Candidate Profile: • 2+ years of Utilization Management experience or pletion of a Managed Care Residency • In-depth knowledge of Medicare Part B drug policies and prior authorization processes • Clear understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payers, providers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers • Strong munication skills, especially with culturally diverse populations • Experience with pharmacy-related Quality Assurance (QA) or transitions of care is a strong plus • Previous work in multidisciplinary care teams preferred • fortable working independently in a remote environment and meeting deadlines • Must be based in CST and available for the schedule noted Additional Details: • Start Date: December 1 (with prehensive training provided) • Contract: Pending finalization with the client • Credit Check: Pending Ready to Apply?
