Lead and manage a team of engineers in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions for Netflix's digital streaming platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and trends. Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. Work closely with product teams to prioritize and plan for future cloud infrastructure enhancements. Develop and maintain relationships with cloud service providers to ensure the best solutions are being utilized. Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. Stay current on industry standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure management. Communicate updates and progress to key stakeholders and leadership. Participate in hiring and training new team members to ensure a strong and capable team. Serve as the subject matter expert for all things related to cloud infrastructure within the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and increase efficiency in our cloud infrastructure. Proactively identify and address potential issues or roadblocks in the cloud infrastructure. Represent Netflix at industry events and conferences to stay abreast of new developments in cloud infrastructure. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
