Principal Mobile Developer (Android, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)

The Expertise You Have • 6+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Kotlin. • Experience working in a team of Android developers participating in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming. Demonstrable experience mentoring and coaching other Android developers. • Participated in the development of an Android experience from feature inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, Gradle, and release and DevOps monitoring tools. The Skills You Bring • Your experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Retrofit, etc. and a strong understanding of modern development principles such as Trunk-Based Development, Test-Driven Development, multi-module applications, feature toggles, etc. to support performant and collaborative engineering teams. • Your understanding of the benefits of a loosely coupled architecture, using strategies such as repositories, use cases, MVVM, MVP, and clean architecture. • Your knowledge of the mobile landscape, trends, and emerging technologies used in creating performant, resilient, and robust Android apps. Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is a plus. • Experience driving quality & release pipelines. Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and static-code analyzers to deliver high-quality apps continuously and autonomously. • Good understanding of Android's accessibility features and experience building accessible experiences.
