Job Description: The Opportunity: Drive Strategic Growth Across Business and IT at TJX As a Principal Business Strategy Architect at TJX, you will play a pivotal role in aligning business strategy with technology execution to support the growth of key functions and enterprise initiatives. As part of the Business Architecture team, you will lead future-state planning, identify critical capability gaps, and shape scalable, efficient solutions that drive long-term value. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong consulting acumen, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across both business and IT. What You'll Do • Partner with business and IT leaders to capture strategic goals, identify core capabilities, and uncover operational pain points. • Conduct root cause analyses to identify opportunities across people, processes, and technology. • Develop and maintain business architecture models and artifacts, including capability maps, value streams, and strategic roadmaps. • Translate business strategy into actionable plans and link them to downstream initiatives and investments. • Collaborate across business units to identify cross-functional opportunities and ensure alignment with enterprise goals. • Research emerging trends and technologies to inform long-term planning and innovation. • Support documentation and communication efforts to drive decision-making and manage change. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Architecture practices, tools, and methodologies. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 8-10 years of experience in Operational/Strategic Planning, Business Analysis, Program Management or Consulting. • Strong understanding of Business Architecture concepts (e.g., strategies, value streams, capabilities, applications). • Experience working with business leaders to assess current/future capabilities and identify gaps. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, structured manner. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams. • Familiarity with strategic planning techniques and business case development. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
