Principal AI Scientist - Payments Analytics Studio

At U.S. Bank Corp., we are looking for a Principal AI Scientist - Payments Analytics Studio to lead our innovative Payment Analytics Studio. This role requires a combination of technical acumen and excellent leadership to use artificial intelligence (AI) to create and drive forward cutting-edge analytics solutions that generate significant business value. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the payments industry and a demonstrated ability to develop advanced analytics solutions.We are looking for someone who is passionate about AI and analytics and who is excited to take on the challenge of creating an industry-leading Payment Analytics Studio. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading AI projects, demonstrating an ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems. In addition, excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders are essential.The successful candidate should have:• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.• At least 5 years of experience in the payments industry, preferably in a leadership role.• A proven track record of developing and deploying AI solutions in the payments space.• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• The capacity to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders.• An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to think strategically.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of AI solutions in the Payments Analytics Studio.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of AI solutions.
Develop and evaluate machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure efficient and effective operations of the Payments Analytics Studio.
Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to optimize AI solutions.
Keep up to date with the latest advances in AI technology and industry best practices.
Design and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor and lead a team of AI scientists.
Manage and maintain relationships with external partners.
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
