Pricefx Solution Architect Remote: Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia Position Type: Employment or Contract Work Canidium is a leader in Pricing, Sales Performance Management and Incentive Compensations Management. We partner with mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies to provide the expertise and assistance in selecting and implementing pricing, sales performance management, sales analytics and related sales-enabling technologies that result in a better understanding of where to focus and how to motivate sales teams to increase their likelihood of generating higher and more profitable sales. Canidium Solution Architects are responsible for leading the technical aspects of projects and supporting multiple customers. We are seeking a Solution Architect with direct experience in Pricefx. Responsibilities Include: Lead all technical aspects of projects and support multiple customers Responsible for overarching design decisions, directions, architecture, and workflow for the Pricefx solution Assist with gathering, communicating and formalizing customer requirements in the form of user stories Lead the configuration of the Pricefx solution, using both the Pricefx native language and Groovy Manage Canidium and project team colleagues; collaborate with client and vendor stakeholders and SMEs to ensure project quality Mentor junior colleagues - transfer critical and unique knowledge and approach of the Pricefx SaaS solution Work with Pricefx Support to resolve technical issues Analyze and define the requirements for the integration of data from/to customer’s other IT systems Lead regression testing and quality assurance efforts of newly delivered and changed functionality And all other duties requested by management Qualities of the Ideal Candidate: Excellent leadership capabilities Problem solving analysis Communication proficiency Time management Presentation public speaking skills Skills Experience Needed: Direct experience with Pricefx Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 5 years of experience Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles involving Java or Groovy Knowledge of the programming language Java, experience with Web Services, HMTL, and JavaScript, experience with enterprise software implementation projects Experience with pricing domain projects and with relational databases Experience serving in a large, global, complex company and/or working with large, global, complex clients Ability to communicate with customers in-person, on conference calls and through email Skill with writing concise, effective communication to various audiences Experience with Agile project management and tools (we use Jira) This position can be filled by either a full-time employee or a contractor.
