Responsibilities:
Teach academic and/or extracurricular topics.
Maintain a professional environment in the classroom.
Meet or exceed state qualifications or certifications.
Ensure that students meet learning standards.
Set high expectations for student performance and behavior.
Interact with parents, other teachers and staff members, and school administrators.
Communicate with students about course content via presentations, textbooks, worksheets, and other materials.
Create lesson plans and adapt them as needed; effectively and efficiently use the time in class.
Use teaching approaches that engage students in their own learning process.
