This role will lead PR efforts for Skin Cleansing, Femcare, and Agility categories, supporting the Head of PR & Influencer for a global beauty client. As a representative of Indie, you will collaborate closely with our beauty client, bringing your expertise and proactive approach to your team.ResponsibilitiesPR Leadership & Activation Lead the planning and execution of PR activations across Skin Cleansing, Femcare, and Agility categories. Own and maintain the PR calendar and activation timelines to ensure seamless execution. Review and approve press materials, key message documents, briefing documents, and media assets to align with brand objectives. Propose and implement innovative ideas to elevate campaigns, identifying agile opportunities for added value. Agency & Partner Management Serve as an advisor between agency partner (Edelman) and brand teams, ensuring alignment on brand activations, product launches, and events (in-person attendance not required). Conduct light pitching to beauty PR and news media contacts as needed or when agency efforts fall short. Collaborate with Global PR counterparts to share plans and maintain consistency across regions. KPI Reporting & Insights Lead earned reporting efforts, analyzing performance against benchmarks and KPIs. Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders, driving data-informed decisions. RequirementsSkills and CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to lead complex PR initiatives and manage cross-functional teams effectivelyExtensive experience (5+ years) in the beauty category, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape and trendsStrong relationships with beauty editors and media contacts, with a proven track record of securing high-value coverageAbility to challenge existing strategies and deliver innovative, results-driven solutions that elevate brand campaignsAdvanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence stakeholdersGenuine interest in the beauty category, with an enthusiasm for contributing to its growth and innovationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related fieldProven experience in public relations, including managing agency relationshipsExpertise in the beauty industry, with established beauty PR and media contactsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team
