Power BI Developer for dashboards and automation - Financials and Operational

We're looking for an experienced Power BI and Power Automate specialist to support us in building a professional, business-ready dashboard. This role requires strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and working with a variety of data sources, including Excel, SQL databases, and cloud storage (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).

Our ideal candidate is someone who can transform messy data into clean, interactive visuals, write advanced DAX calculations, build automated workflows, and understand data modelling best practices.

Responsibilities:

Build and optimize Power BI dashboards using best practices

Write advanced DAX measures and calculated columns

Clean and transform data using Power Query

Connect and integrate data from Excel, SQL, and other sources

Set up Power Automate flows for notifications, refreshes, or data movement

Collaborate with our team to understand business goals and translate them into meaningful reports

Requirements:

Proven experience with Power BI & Power Automate

Advanced DAX and Power Query skills

Strong data modelling knowledge

Experience connecting to multiple data sources (Excel, SQL, SharePoint, etc.)

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

Bonus: experience with Row-Level Security, performance optimization, or embedded Power BI

Project Scope:

One main dashboard (multi-page) with filters, KPI cards, and drill-downs

Power Automate workflows to support alerting and refresh logic
