About The Position We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our research team at HKU working at the forefront of ocean remote sensing and global change monitoring. Our work combines satellite data, physical models, and AI methods to understand ocean dynamics and environmental changes. Duties And Responsibilities • Conduct independent and collaborative research in ocean remote sensing and related fields. • Develop and apply advanced methods in satellite data analysis, AI, and field validation. • Publish research in leading peer-reviewed journals. • Contribute to supervision of students and assist in project development. Requirements • A Ph.D. in Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Computer Science, or related fields (obtained within the last 2 years). • Strong research record with publications. • Experience in programming, satellite data processing, and/or fieldwork. • Excellent communication skills in English. • Ability to work independently and in a team.
