Podcast Videographer & Editor (Ongoing, Weekly Episodes + Short-Form Content) (MIA) - Contract to Hire
Budget: $200–$250 per completed episode + bonuses + travel opportunities
Commitment: Ongoing, with consistent projects
Location: Must be based in the Miami area (within 45 minutes of the city or zip code 33131)
About the Role:
I am looking for a creative, experienced podcast videographer and editor to record, edit, and publish high-quality podcast episodes on an ongoing basis. This role requires someone who is organized, efficient, and able to maintain the established style of previous episodes while bringing fresh energy and ideas.
The goal is to edit, complete, and publish at least one podcast episode per week.
You will also create engaging short-form content from each episode, keep everything organized, and proactively communicate progress to the manager.
Responsibilities:
•Edit episodes from start to finish using the provided blueprint and template guide (with full instructions and examples to match the style of prior episodes)
• Publish completed episodes to all social media channels
• Organize all episodes and track the progress of edits proactively, updating the manager regularly
• Clip out 6–12 short-form videos from each episode for use on all social media platforms
• Create thumbnails and titles for each full episode
• Create titles for the short clips as well
Requirements:
Please only apply if you meet all of the following:
• At least 5 years of experience in video recording and editing, with a strong portfolio of podcast work
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects — Please do not apply if you don’t edit on Adobe Premiere Pro (no exceptions)
• Must edit on a MacBook Pro 16" (or better) to ensure hard drive compatibility
• Must have at least a 5TB external hard drive for footage transfer and storage
• Able to edit 4K footage
• Skilled at color grading
• Creative, detail-oriented, and efficient
• Able to manage and deliver consistent, high-quality work on schedule
Nice-to-Haves:
• Familiarity with podcast formats and best practices for video and social media presentation
• Ability to suggest creative improvements to enhance viewer engagement
• Flexibility to travel as needed
