Product Line Management & Technical Support

Ensure the revenue target of the Communication Optics product line
Working together with Global Sales team to support customer, provide strong technical support to build up customer confidence and trust
Builds a pipeline of projects and can constantly feed the pipeline
Identifies and evaluates the projects, and prioritizes the potential targets and internal resources
Significantly influences the products roadmaps and its pricing
Analyze the cost structure, continuously improve and drive the cost reduction through process improvement
Conduct training course to share the latest knowledge on market/technology to other department




Project Management & New Products Development

Ensure the New Products revenue target of Communication Optics product line
Working together with R&D and Operation team to develop the proposals in line with customer requirements
Drive proof of concepts, pilots and technology evaluations to accelerate the onboarding of new technologies and solutions
Collaborate across products to drive ongoing improvement and platform uptake, working closely with partners to influence product strategy and contribute to the product development roadmap

Key Project management, include key metrics initiate, key milestone plan and control, project performance analysis and report (P&L analysis, market share position, competition analysis).




Product Marketing

Develop and execute market research to determine market size, SOWTs, key competitors and their strategies,market share and product opportunities
Identify new and emerging markets, develop the products roadmap and strategic plan to position company as the market leader
Market and competitive assessments are current and accurate including product trends, market size, and potential customers.




Leadership & Financial Management

Demonstrate exemplary leadership through commitment, energy and personal productivity; set high standards and expectations for members of the team; promote individual and team enthusiasm, motivation, commitment and productivity via open discussion, honest communication, factual representation and even-handed problem resolution
Establish clear and specific objectives with all department personnel that support achievement of company goals

Qualification & Requirements

Education: MS in Physics, Optics, Electronics, or a related Engineering field.

Experience:

Industry Expertise: 10+ years of combined experience in Engineering (5+ yrs) and Sales/Marketing/Business Development (5+ yrs) within the optical communications sector.
Leadership: 5+ years of experience in people management within technical or development functions.
Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex projects and resolving technical/business issues.
Customer Engagement: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with Tier-1 customers.

Skills & Competencies:

Business Acumen: Superior analytical skills in strategic business and financial planning; strong "marketing sense" for the communications market.
Communication: Exceptional English (verbal and written) with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.
Execution: Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with high integrity and professionalism.
