As a Physics Tutor, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting students through the subjects of physics and astronomy, working closely with our faculty to provide exceptional learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group tutoring support to students in physics and astronomy, both in-person and online
Assist students with lecture and lab materials, study methods, and technology needed to complete course-related work
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success
Collaborate with faculty members to ensure seamless support for students
Greet students and visitors, and provide general information about college services
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physics or a closely related field
Coursework in calculus-based physics or astronomy preferred
Microsoft Office Application skills and excellent communication skills
Comfort with technology usage and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate: $14.81 - $19.99 per hour
