Physician - Obesity Medicine

About The Role
Mochi Health is seeking experienced, independent providers who are passionate about obesity medicine and building long-term relationships with patients. As a rapidly growing startup expanding across multiple states, we provide a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to obesity care. This role is ideal for physicians looking to practice evidence-based obesity medicine in a flexible, telemedicine-first environment.
What You'll Do
ā¢ Provide virtual consultations to patients managing obesity and metabolic health conditions.
ā¢ Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and other obesity treatments.
ā¢ Utilize our custom-built EMR designed for longitudinal obesity care.
ā¢ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nutritionists, genetic counselors, and prior authorization specialists.
ā¢ Stay updated with the latest clinical research through our monthly academic lecture series (optional).
ā¢ Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care in a flexible, telemedicine setting.
Who You Are
ā¢ MD/DO with current board certification (preferably in Endocrinology, Bariatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine).
ā¢ Minimum 2 years of experience in obesity medicine and/or endocrinology.
ā¢ DABOM certification (optional, but preferred).
ā¢ 1+ year of experience prescribing GLP-1 medications.
ā¢ 1+ year of telemedicine experience (comfortable on-camera using video chat).
