Responsibilities About the Role: As a Part time Virtual Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert physical therapy services to patients in a virtual setting. This position offers the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis, allowing you to balance other commitments while making a significant impact in patients' lives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct Virtual Assessments: Evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs through video consultations. 2. Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Create personalized rehabilitation programs to address patients' specific needs and goals. 3. Provide Virtual Therapy Sessions: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring effective delivery of exercises and therapeutic techniques. 4. Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. 5. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, exercises, and wellness strategies. 6. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. 7. Maintain Professional Standards: Adhere to all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in virtual physical therapy. Qualifications · Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. · Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license. · Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy. · Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Strong organizational and time management abilities. · Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments.
