Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to join our thriving Naples, FL location. In this role, you will be the front‑line ambassador of arenaflex’s pharmacy services, providing courteous, accurate, and efficient assistance to every customer who walks through our doors. Your primary focus will be to ensure that prescriptions are filled correctly, patients receive the information they need, and the overall experience aligns with arenaflex’s high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction: Greet patients with a warm, professional demeanor, identify their needs, and proactively offer assistance throughout the pharmacy visit.
Prescription Processing: Accurately input prescription data into the pharmacy management system, verify patient information, and ensure proper dosage and quantity calculations.
Medication Counseling: Provide basic medication guidance, explain usage instructions, potential side effects, and answer common pharmacy‑related questions while recognizing when to refer complex inquiries to the pharmacist.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with shelf stocking, and report low‑stock or expired items to maintain optimal product availability.
Compliance & Safety: Follow all federal, state, and local regulations governing prescription handling, privacy (HIPAA), and controlled substance protocols.
Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies, insurance rejections, or patient concerns swiftly, ensuring satisfaction before the patient leaves the store.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and retail associates to coordinate workflow, address peak‑hour demands, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Essential Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; additional education in health‑related fields is a plus.
Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within a pharmacy or healthcare environment.

Excellent verbal communication abilities and a friendly, empathetic approach to patient interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working specifically for arenaflex or a similar large‑scale pharmacy chain.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or enrollment in a pharmacy technician program.
