About the Role: Security Guard Entry Level We're excited to offer immediate openings for Security Guards at Allied Universal, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises. As a Security Guard, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients and their visitors, providing excellent customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by executing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies with a calm and problem-solving demeanor. Respond to incidents and critical situations effectively, ensuring the safety and security of people and property. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as per client site requirements. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats and ensure a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Essential Qualifications: To be considered for this entry-level security position, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field. Be willing to undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Be subject to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law. Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: While not mandatory, having the following skills and qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience in security or a related field. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong observational and reporting skills.
