Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

Point‑of‑Sale Operations

Accurately register sales using the assigned cash register, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
Process voids, returns, rain‑checks, refunds, and exchanges while adhering to arenaflex policies.
Suggest complementary or higher‑value items that enhance the customer’s health regimen.
Maintain clean, well‑organized checkout counters and surrounding aisles, restocking as needed.
Assist customers in locating products, walking them to the appropriate aisle when time permits.


Pharmacy Support & Prescription Processing

Under direct supervision, use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, ensuring data entry accuracy.
Assist the pharmacist with prescription filling – retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medication‑to‑prescription matches, and checking for potential drug interactions.
Report any prescription errors immediately to the on‑duty pharmacist and document them according to the Quality Improvement Program.
Handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist intervention, including communication with physicians and third‑party payers.
Process manual claims for third‑party prescription programs, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory standards.


Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Adherence

Follow state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice, including Good Faith Dispensing policies.
Adhere to arenaflex Pharmacy Code of Conduct and all company policies regarding medication safety and confidentiality.
Ensure proper handling of regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco, in line with local laws.

Inventory Management & Merchandising

Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and stocking pharmaceutical and retail merchandise.
Participate in inventory audits, identify discrepancies, and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal merchandising, and point‑of‑sale signage.
Apply first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) principles to perishable items and ensure proper separation of raw and ready‑to‑eat foods.


Additional Store Support

Provide photo‑center services, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and promotional product suggestions.
Manage web‑order pick‑up responsibilities, monitoring orders, preparing items, and delivering them to customers in‑store.

Essential Qualifications
