Pharma Data Analytics Strategy Consultant
We are seeking a Manager, Pharma Data & Analytics Strategy to join a growing analytics team within a leading healthcare organization. In this role, you will help shape and execute strategic data initiatives and analytics products that support pharmaceutical partnerships and drive business growth.
This opportunity is ideal for an analytical, client-oriented professional with experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences data who can translate business needs into actionable analytics strategies. You will work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions, operationalize data-driven offerings, and strengthen enterprise analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the design, development, and launch of trade and manufacturer-facing data products.
• Contribute to portfolio strategy, including evaluation and prioritization of innovation and growth initiatives.
• Execute data commercialization strategies by gathering requirements, developing solutions, and supporting go-to-market efforts.
• Build business cases for new initiatives through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Support governance and project management processes, including workflows, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
• Translate complex data and operational requirements into clear insights and deliverables.
• Partner with commercial teams (marketing, strategy, analytics) to deliver tailored analytics solutions for pharmaceutical clients.
• Develop client-facing materials, presentations, and thought leadership content.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to optimize impact and value delivery.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, consulting, or client solutions within pharmaceutical or healthcare data environments.
• 3+ years of experience delivering analytics projects from concept through implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business, Public Health, Life Sciences).
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including marketing and commercial strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and matrixed environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within commercial analytics functions such as Trade, Patient Analytics, Brand Insights, or Market Access.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA or Symphony Health.
• MBA or consulting background with exposure to healthcare or pharma analytics strategy.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Experience developing strategic recommendations and new data-driven offerings.
• Familiarity with emerging AI and advanced analytics capabilities.
