As a People & Talent Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function and contributing to the development of a positive work culture. This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a distributed team. The People & Talent Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR-related tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. You will serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from team members, provide guidance on handling sensitive employment matters, and support conflict resolution. Key Responsibilities Support the HR function by completing tasks related to requisitions, job postings, onboarding, change of status, performance, benefits, and leaves, training and development, employee relations, recruiting, and separation. Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from all team members, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures. Support conflict resolution and provide guidance on handling sensitive employment matters, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a fair and timely manner. Provide performance management support to leaders, including coordinating performance reviews and ensuring that all performance-related processes are followed. Coordinate training and development efforts to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth. Assist with the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Coordinate candidate or new hire travel, ensuring that all logistical arrangements are made in a timely and efficient manner. Perform administrative work related to recruiting and onboarding, including creating e-files and personnel files, and maintaining accurate records. Plan and participate in employee engagement activities to build a positive work culture, promoting a sense of community and connection among team members. Conduct employee surveys and recommend initiatives to improve morale, retention, and productivity, ensuring that the organization remains a great place to work. Maintain relevant documents and information on HR SharePoint, ensuring that all HR-related information is up-to-date and easily accessible. Generate basic reports from various systems on a regular and ad-hoc basis, providing insights and data to support HR-related decision-making. Assist the Senior Leadership on the People and Talent team with various projects, providing support and guidance as needed. Support in all People & Talent administrative tasks, including setting up trainings, coordinating events, and communicating around DICE initiatives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role, with a broad understanding of HR practices and labor laws. 1+ year of recruiting experience, with a proven track record of attracting and hiring top talent. Experience working with Paylocity or another HCM system, with a strong understanding of HR technology and its applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels. Negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
