Job Overview:
Chamberlain University, a leading institution in nursing education, is seeking a passionate and experienced Pediatric Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team in Irwindale, CA. As a part-time instructor, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of nursing by mentoring students in a clinical setting and helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in this rewarding field.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service
Plan and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups
Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives
Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs


Requirements:

Master's (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
Unencumbered professional nursing license in California
At least three years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
Clinical skills competency verification and successful completion of an auto-graded med math exam
