What you will do:
As the Patient Scheduler, you will be engaged with patients of multiple practices and be responsible for routine data management. Patient Schedulers play an integral role in helping our pharmacists deliver expert clinical care, counseling, and coaching that improves clinical and economic outcomes. We are looking for a customer-service oriented professional who is looking for a part-time, work-from-home contractor opportunity. This is an independent contractor position perfect for someone who can work 20-30 hours a week (Monday through Friday), generally between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Timely manage inbound and outbound calls to provide patients with compelling reasons why an RxLive pharmacist consult would benefit them.
Schedule patient consults for pharmacists based on where the pharmacist is licensed.
Contribute to Job Aids and Standard Operating Procedures for Patient Service Specialist Team reference.
Comply with all HIPAA and related privacy and operational requirements.
Represent RxLive in a professional manner following all Company policies and procedures.
* 2+ years of customer service or patient engagement experience. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Google Suite is a plus.
Team-player attitude with the ability to learn and implement new processes quickly.
Results-focused and detail-oriented customer service professional with a clear focus on high quality.
Strong verbal communication skills and compassionate demeanor with ability to quickly build rapport.
Exceptional ability to see how activities relate to patient care and company goals.
Maintain a strong understanding of the various regulatory and customer requirements related to the services provided by RxLive.
Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in an independent environment.
Additionally, the candidate must:
Have access to a HIPAA-secure quiet workplace
Be familiar with HIPAA compliance requirements
Have access to secure high-speed internet
Have laptop/PC with video capabilities
Be willing to complete and pass a drug test and background screening before beginning employment
