The Patient Benefits Advisor is responsible for assisting patients in understanding their insurance benefits.
Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.
Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)
Job Description:
Ā Verifying insurance coverage, coordinating benefits, and providing support to ensure patients receive the proper care without financial barriers.
Ā Verify patient medical insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services or procedures.
Ā Obtain accurate information regarding medical insurance coverage information from insurance companies.
Ā Consult with patients about their insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses and payment options.
Required skills/experience:
Ā One year of healthcare or medical call center experience is required
Ā Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
Ā Healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
Ā Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Education:
Ā Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
