Patent Docket Specialist

The Docket Specialist will coordinate and maintain all areas of the patent computerized docket system and will have daily contact with practice group lawyers and staff.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all areas of the CPI database including:All information pertaining to each specific application and docket due dates, and remarks.Incoming domestic and foreign client related communications.Incoming Patent and Trademark Office communications filed in the Patent office.Processing delivery of incoming electronic communications pursuant to departmental procedures.Providing docket, status, and maintenance reports to patent personnel and lawyersSkillsHigh school diploma and a minimum of one (1) year of docketing experience or equivalent knowledge of patent processesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)Excellent written and oral communication skills and exceptional attention to detailTime-management and organizational skills to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work well under pressure in a collaborative team environmentFlexibility to work overtime is preferredBenefitsMedical coverage, with a variety of plansHealth care and dependent care reimbursement accountsDomestic partner coverageParental leaveVacation and holiday leaveLife and accident insuranceIncome protection, including sick leave, salary continuation, and long term disability.Company OverviewFrom our offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, we work with clients ranging from established, global Fortune 100 companies to enterprising startups.
