Your Responsibilities
As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will:
 Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through standardized testing and interviews.
 Develop Effective Support Plans: Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized strategies that promote student success.
 Provide Counseling Services: Deliver one-on-one and group sessions addressing mental health, social skills, and behavioral concerns.
 Support IEP Development: Play a vital role in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by offering expert recommendations for student interventions.
 Crisis Management: Offer timely psychological support during emergencies to help students and schools navigate challenging situations.
 Promote a Positive School Climate: Partner with school staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What WeÂre Looking For
To succeed in this role, youÂll need:
 Arkansas School Psychologist License: A current and valid certification to practice in Arkansas.
 Experience in School Settings: Familiarity with K-12 student needs, special education processes, and working in educational environments. Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required.
 Technical Skills: Confidence in using teletherapy tools and a willingness to adapt to new technology.
 Strong Communication Abilities: The ability to build meaningful connections with students, families, and school personnel remotely.
 Flexibility and Initiative: A self-driven approach to tackling challenges in a virtual setting.
