This straightforward role comes with a dependable salary of a competitive salary.   Location: Mc Lean, Virginia Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $50 - 53 per hour We are looking for a Art Director to inspire and elevate our team while driving compelling, customer-first creative solutions. You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and business partners to develop luxury-focused campaigns across multiple platforms. This role involves shaping creative workflows, leading brainstorming sessions, and aligning strategies with business goals. Responsibilities: • Inspire and elevate the team and surrounding work environment. • Actively acquire knowledge about the business, brands, target audiences, and competitors. • Collaborate with ACD - Luxury, designers, and copywriters to develop compelling, customer-first creative solutions across omni-platform touchpoints through a luxury lens. • Shape and influence the creative workflow to ensure efficiency and quality. • Engage with business and creative partners, facilitating clear communication and effective decision-making. • Provide and receive feedback thoughtfully, fostering a productive and respectful critique environment. • Contribute to the creative process by designing alongside the team, offering feedback, and guiding creative strategy as needed; continually learning and sharing design tips, tools, and shortcuts. • Organize and lead creative brainstorming sessions and presentations for partners across marketing, brand, and corporate sectors. • Partner closely with internal teams to understand business goals, marketing objectives, and creative needs, ensuring alignment across campaigns and projects. • Uphold brand identity and accessibility standards while contributing to the visual identity's ongoing evolution. • Leverage campaign performance data to gauge effectiveness and apply insights to future projects. • Strategically prioritize projects, knowing when to be hands-on versus hands-off. • Stay informed on industry trends, especially in the digital and social landscape, and recommend innovative templates and design approaches. Qualifications: • Strong leadership and communication abilities. • Expertise in luxury design principles and messaging hierarchy. • Confidence, enthusiasm, and resilience, with the ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions. • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work seamlessly across multiple functions. • Genuine, self-assured, and enthusiastic, with a talent for building strong working relationships quickly. • Passion for luxury culture, trends, and emerging styles. • Experience working within a creative agency environment and managing design teams. • Background in luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
