Overview Job Summary / Objective : Alter-Learning Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Art Director to be responsible for the visual style and overall design of our IP-related projects. In this role, the Art Director will effectively communicate and ensure the artistic vision and aesthetic direction, manage design teams, and ensure the final product aligns with the company’s vision and project requirements. Responsibilities • Developing and maintaining a creative vision in any transmedia product related to our IP. • Managing and overseeing design teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. • Determining visual elements to use in the project, ensuring they align with the overall concept. • Ensuring quality and consistency, reviewing and approving artwork and designs, and ensuring they meet quality standards and maintain a consistent visual style. • Budget and timeline management to ensure the project’s budget and timeline stay on track and within the allocated resources. • Staying current with trends to stay up-to-date on the latest visual design trends and techniques to ensure the final product is innovative and relevant. Qualifications • Strong visual sense, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of visual design principles. • Leadership and management skills to lead and manage a team effectively, providing guidance and support. • Communication skills to clearly and effectively convey the vision to the company management, design teams, and other stakeholders. • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions during the project. • Technical skills to be proficient in software like Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools. • Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills at a professional level. • Strong understanding of art principles, animation pipelines, and movie production best practices. • Ability to meet project deadlines under tight schedules and manage time effectively.
