As a recognized and experienced expert in this fast-growing business, you will take responsibility for a small portfolio of top companies. You will advise your customers from the initial contact to the long-term development of a partnership. In doing so, you will act on the same level as senior decision-makers on the customer side and define holistic marketing strategies, leveraging all of Amazon’s innovative advertising solutions. Our goal is to establish and expand long-term business relations, and drive sustainable success for our advertiser customers. To achieve that, you will completely own the advertising revenue of your portfolio and lead the engagement with your customers, supported by a cross-functional team of account managers, analysts, designers, and other operational teams. By managing your sales pipeline independently, gaining a deep understanding of the needs of major global consumer electronics brands, and developing convincing solutions you will ensure the achievement of your short- and long-term objectives. Key job responsibilities • Build and manage sales pipelines to ensure that revenue targets will be met • Present and sell Amazon Advertising products including brand placements, targeting and direct response advertising. • Develop and deliver a clear strategy for revenue growth. • Maximize client relationships with a focus on building their businesses with Amazon. • Grow relationships at all levels within agencies and increase understanding of how Amazon can create deeper partnerships with both agencies and advertisers. • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide the highest level of customer service is provided to all clients. A day in the life Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of Advertising and e-Commerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and the Amazon Advertising Platform. We believe that advertising, when done well, can greatly enhance the value of the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Madrid, M, ESP BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Hold a Certificado de Discapacidad issued by the Administration in Spain, pursuant to Royal Decree 1/2013, Nov 29, approving the Spanish PwD Act (express legal provision to reserve 2%) • Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration or related. • Minimum experience of 6 years in online marketing related positions. • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business. • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and external. • An ability to analyse quantitatively, and problem-solve. • Ideally previous experience selling within the digital space. • Proficiency in English and Spanish is a must. • Preferred qualifications • Prior experience with a digital marketer, a media agency, or a marketing responsibility in a top consumer company • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business. • Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills • Ability to influence others to set and achieve goals and deadlines • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel-path projects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS If you’re obsessed with delivering long-term success, building great relationships with key advertisers, and identifying and solving advertiser problems before they have identified the problem themselves – then we want you to come join us.
