Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional partner manager. You will be hire #1 into the partnerships team and work directly with our head of partnerships Djurre Hoogeveen owning topics critical to Upvest’s go to market success:Define the building blocks for partnerships excellenceWe aim high at Upvest. Five years ago we embarked on the mission to make investing as easy as spending money. Today we are steadily becoming the backbone of B2C investment products for leading fintechs and global financial institutions. Partnerships are highly strategic for the next phase of our growth journey, as they help i) unlock sales discussions, ii) meet client implementation demands, and iii) create end-to-end investment solution needs.It will be your exciting task to design and improve a scalable framework for partner onboarding and management. This involves developing and standardising compelling partner touchpoints and interaction frameworks to bring our partner ecosystem to the next level. Additionally, you will create and implement the playbooks and systems that will make it simple for partners to work with us.Build our partnerships ecosystemWe aim to create the #1 partner ecosystem in the investment infrastructure space. This means teaming up with the top companies across the different partner types, from strategy consultants and systems integrators to fund issuers and solutions providers that extend our product capabilities. We will prove early success in DACH (and the UK) as the partnerships ecosystem expands across Europe.With your approachable and productive mindset, you will grow and further establish our partnership network. You will proactively identify and qualify high impact partners, define our value proposition for different partner types, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at priority partner organizations. In addition, you will lead the negotiation of cooperation agreements with our partners.Executing the partnerships strategyAs a key member of our growing team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the partnership strategy to life. With your strong execution skills, diligence, and structured approach you will implement the partnership strategy and drive the day-to-day. As the key counterpart to our partners, you will be responsible for delivering the partner journey from onboarding and enablement to quarterly goal setting and technical integrations.What you'll bring:Experience: You have 2-3 years of experience in consulting / investment banking / equity investing and/or partnerships related roles. You are just as comfortable doing groundwork (research, outreach, setting up processes) as you are engaging with strategic topics and building relationships with senior leaders.Industry exposure: You have a strong interest in investments, securities trading, and software-/infrastructure-as-a-service products (e.g., BaaS).Methodologies & processes: You have hands-on experience in standardizing and optimizing sales-related processes.Project management: You proactively drive complex projects to successful outcomes while making execution efficient and straightforward for others.Mindset: You are eager to learn, highly productive, approach challenges in a data-driven manner, and solve problems with a bias to action and attention to detail.Location: Preference for candidates located in Berlin, fluent in English and German (written and verbal).Why Upvest?We're working on solving a hard problem: fixing the European securities financial infrastructure that empowers more people to be able to invest.
