Part-time/flexible Litigation Lawyer (Sub-Consultant)

Overview
A multi-firm Consultant is seeking a partner/sub-consultant to join his growing dynamic team.

Due to increasing enquiries for litigation service, the Consultant requires a dedicated experienced lawyer to better service his client base.

This role would be suitable for, but not limited to, the following people:
• Retired/semi-retired practitioners looking for consultancy work on a part-time/ad hoc basis.
• Existing consultants looking for additional work.
• Experienced solicitors/qualified lawyers (minimum 5 years PQE) without client following looking to become a consultant.

Hours and location: Fully flexible and work from home

Remuneration: Fee-sharing or fixed fee per case (negotiable).

Duties
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
•... Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes amicably.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and options throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact cases.

Experience
• A qualified solicitor or barrister with relevant experience in litigation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and presenting cases effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £30,000.00-£100,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
• Commission pay
