Job Summary The Part-Time Weekend Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service activities. This includes dispatching deliveries, pickups, maintenance, and repairs for all facilities, homecare, and hospice providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispatching or equivalent experience, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping those in need. Key Responsibilities Dispatch deliveries, pickups, maintenance, and repairs for all facilities, homecare, and hospice providers, ensuring timely and efficient service. Ensure Delivery Drivers receive daily schedules and order tickets, and that they complete orders by collecting serial numbers and completion times. Provide ETAs to the Customer Service department for time-sensitive deliveries, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Utilize Computer-Assisted Dispatching Software to manage and track service activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain strong organizational and interpersonal skills, working effectively with Delivery Drivers, Customer Service, and other stakeholders. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of dispatching or equivalent experience, preferably in a healthcare or logistics environment. Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Dispatching Software and ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Passion and enthusiasm for helping those in need, with a customer-centric approach. Reliable internet service and a dedicated workspace, as this is a remote position. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a healthcare or DME environment, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with minimal supervision. Skills and Competencies Proficiency in Computer-Assisted Dispatching Software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Shift Details This is a Part-Time Weekend position, requiring a commitment of 12 hours per weekend. The shifts will be a combination of the following: Saturdays: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (CST) Sundays: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (CST) Training will commence on Saturday, January 11, 2025, and will last approximately 3-4 weeks. Candidates must be available to participate for the entire training period and adhere to the scheduled hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (CST).
