Our team members enjoy a robust benefits package, including health insurance, flexible scheduling, 401k, and student loan repayment programs. **Job Summary** As a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families while handling medical revenue cycle-related tasks. This is a fully remote opportunity, and you will work closely with our supervisor to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50%) * Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate appropriately (10%) * Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%) * Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%) * Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%) * Requires close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%) **Essential Qualifications** * 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Proficiency in workflow systems and software applications * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Certification in medical revenue cycle or related field (e.g., CPC, CMRS) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
