JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Biology, in the Eberly College of Science, has a part-time opening for a Research Lab Assistant to work in the Anderson research lab within the department this academic year. The Research Assistant performs a variety of tasks associated with designing and conducting research projects/experiments; collects, correlates, analyzes, summarizes, and reports on data; informs PI of research information in accordance with established protocols. This individual will be performing microscopy and data analysis to analyze the single-molecule behaviors of cellulase enzymes on cellulose-xylan composites.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
