About the Role As a Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist - Customer Service Representative at Walgreens, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling patient medication requests, and resolving third-party rejects. You will work closely with pharmacists, patients, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities Data Entry: Utilize Walgreens' prescription data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the appropriate system. Patient Medication Requests: Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Third-Party Rejects: Resolve third-party rejects by researching, gathering data, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Customer Service: Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis. Supporting Pharmacists: Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Basic Computer Skills: Essential level PC abilities, including startup and shutdown, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online. Basic Web Search Tools: Basic web search tools abilities, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a web search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Transitional Level Keyboarding: Transitional level keyboarding abilities (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, arranging documents). Effective Communication: Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Specialist Experience: At least one year of pharmacy specialist experience in a retail or call center environment. Customer Service Experience: Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including fulfilling quality standards for services and assessment of consumer satisfaction. Advanced Keyboarding Skills: Transitional to advanced level keyboarding abilities (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, arranging documents). Bilingual: Familiarity with Spanish and English is preferred.
