Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper (Remote position)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software.
Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Enter progress billing invoices
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable
• Generate AP & AR reports, P&L, Income Statement, Balance Sheet all in QB’s.
Skills
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper (5+ years preferred)
• Experience with construction industry accounting is helpful but not required
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
