Job Description:
We are seeking a fun-loving, highly... motivated, and results-driven individual to join our team, primarily responsible for prospecting and cultivating genuine business-to-business relationships.
Responsibilities:
Selling Ad Space:
Identify and prospect potential clients, including businesses and organizations in the Southwest Virginia area.
Develop and maintain strong genuine relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs and providing suitable solutions.
Present and sell ad space in our two monthly publications, highlighting the benefits and exposure advertisers will receive.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, negotiations, and contracts.
Selling Sponsorships:
Proactively seek out sponsorship opportunities for concerts, community music events, and radio show productions.
Develop compelling sponsorship packages that align with the objectives and budget of potential sponsors based on client needs.
Present sponsorship proposals to potential sponsors, showcasing the unique marketing opportunities available.
Negotiate terms and secure sponsorships, ensuring the satisfaction of both parties.
Marketing Opportunities:
Identify additional marketing opportunities within our extensive portfolio, such as digital advertising, social media, and brand partnerships.
Present these opportunities to clients, demonstrating the value and reach of each marketing channel.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative strategies and campaigns that maximize the exposure and impact of our offerings.
Relationship Management:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Foster ongoing relationships with advertisers and sponsors, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or have recently achieved a degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative advertising solutions tailored to client needs.
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to include managing leads, following up with clients, and meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with the live music and events industry is a plus.
Experience with Hubspot and Slack a plus.
Must able to work remotely.
Local candidates in the southwest Virginia area are preferred.
Compensation:
We offer competitive commission-based earnings that reward your sales performance.
