Part-Time Project Manager (Shopify Focused) – Flexible, Remote, Contract Work

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager with strong experience in web and eCommerce projects, particularly Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing digital projects end-to-end, coordinating between design, development, and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution. Familiarity with Shopify’s ecosystem, apps, and integrations is essential. Experience in front-end or back-end development is a plus. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for overseeing timelines, deliverables, and budgets while ensuring that projects meet quality standards and client expectations. Duties • Lead and manage Shopify website builds, redesigns, and optimization projects from inception to completion. • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines with stakeholders. • Coordinate with developers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution. • Oversee Shopify theme customizations, app integrations, and third-party tool connections. • Ensure SEO and CRO best practices are implemented across projects to maximize performance. • Manage technical setups including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console for accurate tracking and reporting. • Conduct regular project check-ins and client updates, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. • Monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, page speed, and customer experience metrics, and provide actionable recommendations. • Troubleshoot issues and escalate technical problems when necessary. Experience & Skills • Proven project management experience in web development or eCommerce projects (Shopify experience strongly preferred). • Strong understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and integrations; developer experience is a plus. • Familiarity with eCommerce CRO strategies, SEO best practices, and analytics tools. • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to optimization and decision-making. • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar).
