Position Overview:
KENTECH is seeking a part-time Project Manager to lead and manage our end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) process. This contractor will coordinate internal resources, ensure timely submissions, and develop a scalable approach to proposal management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex proposal projects across cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of compliance-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the full RFP lifecycle—from intake and evaluation to submission and post-submission follow-up.
Create timelines, assign responsibilities, and keep stakeholders on track to meet all deadlines. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing to gather necessary documentation and tailored responses. Develop a centralized, searchable RFP content library using shared cloud platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Notion, or Whale). Perform bid intelligence gathering to inform pricing strategy and submission competitiveness. Ensure brand voice, formatting consistency, and compliance requirements are upheld across all RFP submissions. Recommend process automation tools and best practices to improve speed and accuracy of submissions.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience in project management BONUS: managing RFPs, proposals, or client deliverables in a project manager capacity.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a knack for juggling multiple moving parts. Familiarity with SaaS, investigative services, or compliance-heavy industries a plus. Proficiency in Google Workspace, project management platforms and AI-based RFP tools a bonus. Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor and adhere to agreed timelines.
