Part-Time Phone Support – Flexible Hours, High-Impact Work (Remote or Local)
Do you enjoy solving problems for people who really care about their pets? Do you have the patience to walk someone through a tricky decision over the phone—and make them feel heard and helped?
We’re PetDoors.com, a small premium manufacturer of wall-mounted, sliding glass, and electronic pet doors. Our customers are often overwhelmed by options and call because they need real help navigating size charts, installation questions, or choosing between models.
This isn’t a call center. You won’t take hundreds of calls a day. Instead, you’ll handle a small number of long, high-effort conversations—each of which matters. Think 10–15 calls per shift, most of which lead to follow-ups like sending tracking info, product links, or sizing recommendations.
What the Job Looks Like
• Answer phone calls from customers between 10am–3pm PT (flexible days/hours)
• Help callers figure out which product fits their door, wall, or window setup
• Look up past orders, track shipments, and send follow-up emails
• Keep notes clean and clear so the next team member can pick up where you left off
• Use judgment to escalate anything that seems off or outside the playbook

• You’ve ever helped someone fix their printer, set up their phone, or explain a return policy—without losing your cool
• You’re a natural listener and a clear communicator (especially with non-tech-savvy folks)
• You can juggle a few things at once and keep your cool under pressure
• You want part-time work that actually values your time and effort
• You’re organized enough to follow through after the call ends
Ideal for:
• Moms or caregivers with consistent daily availability, looking for meaningful, flexible work in a small, no-drama team. (You don’t need to be a mom—we just know the role fits best with people who value part-time hours and can multitask calmly.)
What You’ll Need:
• A quiet space for calls
• A laptop (we’ll provide access to the tools)
• Curiosity, patience, and the ability to work solo—but never feel unsupported
We're looking for someone that can work 3-5 days/week from around 10am-2pm PST but with flexibility. The start and end time are probably +/- an hour on each side.
