Your Day at Lowe's: Key Responsibilities and Expectations As a Merchandising Services Associate, your primary focus will be on ensuring that our stores are well-merchandised, safe, and easy to navigate. Your key responsibilities will include: Completing merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and providing proof of completion for assigned tasks Verifying buyback items and ensuring they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping Updating and validating wayfinding and product location signage, as well as maintaining digital information throughout the store Confirming product pricing information is clearly visible and replacing any missing price labels Helping drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products in proper locations, and ensuring displays are placed appropriately throughout the store Repairing or replacing damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise, and displays Communicating project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager Analyzing metrics and providing feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders Completing other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For To succeed as a Merchandising Services Associate, you'll need: The ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction) Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers The ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks The physical ability to sit and stand for long periods, as well as lift up to 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications: Experience and Skills That Set You Apart While not required, the following experience and skills can give you a competitive edge: Lowe's sales floor experience or previous retail merchandising experience Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Lowe's, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their skills.
