About VIP Hospitality LLC Incorporated in 2004, our company seeks to efficiently elevate the experience of valued patrons and guests served by our contractees exclusively within the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. About This Role Customer Service Agents (Ambassadors) and Leads will direct, guide, and assist passengers, visitors, and all airport employees via customer service-related functions. Your workday will include providing up-to-date and accurate information and wayfinding, awareness of potential opportunities to provide this service and reporting any facility and stakeholder issues in their designated and assigned areas. Leaders will be responsible for assigning work or designating work areas to fellow ambassadors and act as a point of contact among specific groups or areas of work when a small team is present. What We Offer You Team members will start at $19.50 per hour and team leaders at $21.50 per hour. All full-time employees deemed eligible under the Affordable Care Act may participate in medical, dental, and vision insurances. All qualified team members are eligible and will automatically be enrolled in a matching 401(k). Paid time off will be accrued and available after the first 60 days at an accrual rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Schedule & Shift Times Our operating hours are between 3:45am-12am. All team members are expected to work at least one weekend day (Sunday or Saturday). Candidates that are able to work weekends and the opening shift and/or closing shifts will be preferred over those with more limited availabilities. Who Will Be Most Successful In This Role If at the end of your day, you would feel successful knowing you've reduced the anxiety of both refreshed and weary travelers and measure your success in positive impact and engagement with others, then this may be the role for you. Ideally, you would have at least a year or more of experience at an airport or large events center and feel comfortable with many fast-paced interactions among those that may require more time. You will also be able to communicate effectively with the traveling public with advanced conversational and language skills in English with ideal candidates speaking additional languages spoken amongst our community and traveling public at Orlando International Airport: Spanish, French Creole and French, Portuguese, Arabic, German, Chinese (Mandarin), and Japanese. Additional Considerations To work you must provide necessary documentation to prove employment authorization, and for work specifically at an international airport, you will be required to provide necessary documentation and obtain clearance for an airport ID, passing any background check and drug screenings post-offer of employment.
