Electrical Power Distribution and Wiring – Industrial wiring practices, safety standards, and electrical infrastructure
Three-Phase Motor Control Systems – Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial motor control systems
Fluid Power Systems – Hydraulic and pneumatic system design, operation, and maintenance
Mechanical Drive Systems – Power transmission components, belt drives, gear systems, and mechanical maintenance
DC Power Systems – DC circuit theory, power supplies, and battery systems
Test and Measurement Instrumentation – Use of industrial measurement tools and diagnostic equipment
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Interfacing and Programming – Industrial control system programming and integration

Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex faculty, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Instructional Duties
Deliver high-quality, engaging lectures and demonstrations in mechatronics technology subjects
Utilize active learning approaches that actively engage students and facilitate deep understanding of complex technical concepts
Guide students through hands-on laboratory exercises using industrial automation equipment
Create and maintain a welcoming, supportive learning environment for students of diverse multicultural, socioeconomic, and academic backgrounds
Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, labs, and practical examinations
Provide constructive feedback to help students build confidence and develop lifelong learning habits
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades
Professional Development

Obtain and maintain Professional-Technical Certification as required by Washington state regulations

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in Manufacturing, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field OR equivalent practical experience
Industry Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of directly related industry experience in conjunction with an associate degree OR five (5) years of industry-related experience without a degree
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated work experience in at least one of the following four key areas:
Industrial Three-Phase Electric Motor Control Systems – Installation, Troubleshooting, and Repair
Mechanical Power Transmission Systems – Installation, Troubleshooting, and Repair
Fluid (Hydraulic and Pneumatics) Power Systems – Installation, Troubleshooting, and Repair

Preferred Qualifications
