Job Overview
We're seeking experienced and enthusiastic tutors to join our team in Mount Juliet, TN, to provide high-quality tutoring services in Math and Science subjects, including but not limited to:
Common Core Math
Algebra 1 and 2
Geometry
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
General Science
As a part-time tutor with our organization, you'll be responsible for delivering personalized tutoring sessions to students, adapting your teaching style to meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
Effectively balance tutoring hours assigned to each student
Teach students with varying learning styles and abilities
Address client concerns, questions, and requests in a professional manner
Follow up with our office regarding student enrollment packages and hour balances
Ensure you're servicing students whose needs align with your expertise
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the education field
2+ years of experience in tutoring or teaching in specialized education fields (preferred)
Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus (but not required)
Basic database and data entry experience
Ability to prepare lesson plans for each tutoring session
Essential Skills and Competencies
A personality that is adaptable to different types of students
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Proficient typing, PC, and recording skills
Reliable transportation with current car insurance
Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
