We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to support our Network Systems & Engineering Technology department at our Lakeland campus. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance, maintaining lab environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain physical and virtual lab environments as requested by faculty
Provide technical assistance to students working on assignments and projects
Aid in creating network scenarios and simulating real-world situations to support student learning
Assist the Network Manager with resource allocation, scheduling, and ensuring fair access to lab facilities
Provide tutoring assistance as needed and maintain effective communication with students, faculty, and staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred: at least one year of clerical experience
Excellent organizational, communication, and human relations skills
Ability to work well with others, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective rapport with faculty, students, and staff
Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
