Key Responsibilities As a Part-time Faculty member, you will be responsible for: Providing substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities, including assignments, quizzes, and exams. Managing and maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive student-centric learning environment that encourages engagement, collaboration, and academic excellence. Completing required tasks on deadlines, including final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, and input for grade appeals. Maintaining appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable, to stay current with the latest developments in data science. Providing feedback to the course lead regarding the course content, including suggestions for improvement and updates. Identifying at-risk students and collaborating with student services to provide support and resources. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this opportunity, you must have: A Doctorate in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 2+ years of practical or research experience in building Machine Learning or Deep learning models in Python, and/or R programming. 2+ years of research or practical experience in the field of Data Science or Data Analytics. Preferred Qualifications We also prefer candidates with: 1+ year of teaching experience in data science, Data Analytics, or Data engineering. Experience serving on doctorate dissertation committees. Experience with Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras AutoML, and AWS SageMaker. Predictive Analytics and forecasting experience in different disciplines.
