A K-12 school district in Norfolk, VA, is seeking a licensed Audiologist for a contract position from ASAP through 6/16/2026. This on-site role involves providing audiology services across multiple schools within the district, with a caseload involving students of various ages. The position offers an opportunity to establish and develop an in-house audiology program previously managed by an external clinic. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct hearing exams and audiological assessments at assigned school sites. • Manage a caseload of students, providing support and intervention as needed. • Collaborate with school staff and families to create individualized plans for students with hearing needs. • Develop and implement an audiology service program within the district. • Travel itinerantly to multiple school locations to provide consistent and comprehensive services. Qualifications: • PhD in Audiology required. • Current, active Audiologist license. • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage itinerant caseloads effectively. Location and Schedule: • On-site work only with no virtual or hybrid options. • 37.5 hours per week. • Multiple school assignments within the Norfolk area.
