The Role: Part Time Facilitator - English As a Part Time Facilitator - English, you'll report to the School Director and/or their designee. You'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an engaging instructional program that caters to the diverse needs of our learners. This is a unique opportunity to create and tailor curriculum to the needs of our learners, making a real impact on their educational journey. Key Responsibilities: Incorporate Project-Based Learning into the curriculum to enrich the learning experience. Develop and implement rigorous, differentiated, and inquiry-based lessons and instructional materials. Create a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters trust, respect, and engagement. Evaluate learners' academic and social growth, maintaining accurate records and preparing progress reports. Collaborate with learners, families, and colleagues to identify and address learners' needs. Communicate effectively with fellow department members, school leaders, and parents to ensure seamless coordination. Represent iLEAD California in a positive and professional manner in all interactions. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices and industry trends. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with all necessary courses to meet credential requirements. Single Subject Teaching Credential - English. ELL Authorization - CLAD, BCLAD certification. Experience in an educational setting or real-world experience in non-traditional, flexible, and collaborative environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Project-Based Learning and individualized instruction. Knowledge of curriculum design and development. Familiarity with social-emotional learning principles and practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Skills and Competencies: Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem-solve and multitask. Strong organizational and time management skills.
