**Job Summary:**
We're looking for a talented and customer-focused individual to support our Office of Student Financial Assistance as a Customer Service Representative. In this critical role, you'll be the primary point of contact for Florida high school and college students seeking information about scholarship and grant opportunities. As a calm and professional representative of arenaflex, you'll provide accurate and timely information, navigate complex issues, and ensure that every interaction is a positive and empowering experience for our students and families.
**Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling inbound calls from students and families regarding scholarships and grants, providing accurate and timely information following provided guidelines
* Logging and managing interactions using computer systems, ensuring seamless communication and data management
* Escalating complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team members, ensuring that every issue is resolved efficiently and effectively
* Collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive support and resources to students and families
* Staying up-to-date with program guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and informed responses
**Key Skills and Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills, with experience using computer systems and software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for helping others
**Preferred Qualifications:**
