We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Master's Level Group Facilitator to join our team at Workwarp in a part-time, contracted role. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in leading therapeutic sessions for individuals dealing with mental health and addiction issues, primarily during evenings and every other Saturday. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health or addiction issues, promoting a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth
Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
Provide education and resources to participants to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote self-care
Requirements:
Proven experience in hospital or direct support settings, with expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling
Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' needs and progress
Knowledge of medical records management, including ICD-9 coding
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior experience with hybrid work arrangements
Familiarity with remote work technologies and platforms
